Mark Twyford

Director and Professional Accountant

A business manager and accounting professional with over twenty years’ experience in a variety of areas, including, construction, retail, solar, finance, motor and mortgage industries. I have managed small and large teams, at regional, state and national levels, to drive business, through inclusive management techniques. In partnership with my spouse we have successfully owned and managed our own small retail business. To further enhance career opportunities, I completed a Bachelor of Business (Management) in 2007. Post Graduate study includes completion of Public Practice Graduate Certificate.

I have successfully implemented a major event and fundraising activity for the Rotary Club of Parkwood, September 2010 – , this event is now in its 8th year and raised over $100,000.00

Robert is a CPA qualified Accountant with 33 years’ experience across the Automotive, Telecommunications, Small Business and Retail sectors.


He is a dedicated and determined professional who is committed to success. His extensive and varied experiences as an Accountant, Financial Controller, CFO, and Owner/Operator of several Retail Businesses have allowed him to develop a talent for efficiency in managing Businesses and all related Finance and Accounting operations.

Robert has high-level analytical skills and is extremely detail-oriented, ensuring that no detail goes unnoticed and that every task is completed to an exceptionally high standard.


Robert is the Vice President, Queensland for the Stocktakers Institute Of Australia and owns Count4U, an Independent Stocktaking business, assisting businesses in Queensland with their stocktaking requirements.


Robert is a keen Motorsport fan, and keeps fit with regular visits to the gym and bushwalks in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Dee Johnston

Administration + Bookkeeping Officer

Dee is our newly registered BAS Agent. With a background in Logistics, she has had quite a change of pace since coming to us at Braden’s. As a sole parent of an almost adult daughter, Dee took a chance to start following her own career goals & joined our team as our Administration Officer in January 2019, she completed her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting within the first year of joining our team & became a Registered BAS Agent in March 2020.

As a self-confessed crazy cat lady, Dee is our office animal lover. When she’s not hard at work in the office, you’ll generally find Dee involved in some sort of animal activity, whether it be curled up with her cat & a good book or something more wild like attending one of our local attractions to play with tigers or swim with dolphins.




Daisy joined our team in 2018, having spent most of her life in the greetings field. She makes it her personal duty to ensure anyone entering the office receives a warm and welcoming reception. In addition, she takes on the responsibilities of office security, cuddle duties and waste management (specifically food). 

When Daisy is not hard at work you will find her at the local park out-running Border Collies and collecting sticks 10 times the size of her. 

Pat has had a lifetime of experience as an accountant up to very senior levels as well as a business manager, business advisor and business coach.


With over 50 years as a Certified Practicing accountant, her experience ranges across many industries including agriculture, property, construction, arts, retail, manufacturing, import/export and the hospitality industries.


She brings this wealth of experience as a consultant to our practice to assist clients in specialised areas.
